Location: Rock Falls, IL

Shifts available:

Rock Falls, IL
1st shift
– Monday- Thursday: 6:00am-4:00pm
2nd shift – Monday- Thursday, 4:00pm-2:00am

Type of Position: This is a full-time, temp-to-hire (90 days) position. Reliable, dependable, hard-working, and quick learner. Salary DOE. Please review job description for more details.

Details: Our Powder Coating positions often require rotation of job functions; ideal candidates will have experience in several areas including powder coating, cleaning, prepping, remove caps after powder coating, load/unload steel or aluminum components on moving conveyor line; monitoring finished products for blemishes, and prepping product for shipping. Use of small hand tools is required for many of the positions’ operations. Job duties list not all-inclusive.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, have experience powder coating, be able to read and interpret basic blue prints, follow verbal/written instructions, possess basic math skills, and work in a fast-paced team environment.  Must be able to pass a respirator medical evaluation, respirator fit test (requires a clean shaven face), and a pre-employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to use hands/arms to manipulate product, lift and lower product at, above and below shoulder height; twist, bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, crouch, walk and stand; standing required for duration of shift; ability to work in a high-heat, noisy, fast-paced, manufacturing environment. Ability to load and unload up to and including 50 lbs, alone and with assistance. Safety glasses w/side shields, steel-toe boots with meta tarsal guards, ear plugs, respirator (when powder coating) and gloves (when required) must be worn at all times.

Clean and safe working environment. Safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots with meta-tarsals are required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
