IFH Group, Inc. currently has an IMMEDIATE opening and GREAT opportunity for a Cut/Drill Operator for 1st shift in our manufacturing facility in Rock Falls, IL. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Operate saws and drills for parts for fabrication, using blueprints. Must be mechanically inclined and be able to read calipers, tape measure and standard metrics. Knowledge of a variety of steel preferable. Must be able to see, communicate, stand for long period of time/duration of shift, and work in a fast-paced, normally noisy, production environment. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization and customers.

This is a full-time position. Must be able to lift up to and including 50 lbs with or without assistance. Must be able to use hands/fingers/arms to manipulate parts and steel pieces, lift/lower parts below waist/at waist/above waist level as well as at or above shoulder level; must be able to twist, turn, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, and kneel. Safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protectors, and steel-toed boots with meta-tarsals are required PPE. Employment contingent upon successfully passing drug screen and background screening. Must have exceptional attendance, and be reliable, dependable, hard-working, and a quick learner.

Work days/hours are Monday-Thursday, 5:45am-3:45pm, with Friday and/or Saturday Overtime, depending on production needs, with either an 8-hour or 10-hour shift. Full-time.  Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
